Country A

The Dialogue Begins

In Country A, you have just touched Silent Score. You wait, wondering whether a person in the other country will answer.

The sound of Silent Score begins to fade. Then, suddenly, the painting on its left, Rhythmic Interference, comes to life with a beautiful glissando.

You understand. Your distant counterpart is playing with you. They are answering, but not through the same pair. They are inviting you to move.

You begin to play along. Slowly, almost without noticing, the two of you start creating a shared distributed composition through the Sounding Canvases.

There is no conversation in words. Instead, gestures, sounds, pauses, anticipation, and response begin to form a dialogue between two people separated by distance.

What began as an encounter with a painting has become a playful relationship and, perhaps, the beginning of an empathetic connection.
